You never know whose life you might change with nothing more than the gift of your words.

Almost twenty years ago, I discovered Seth's blog.

His books and his daily writings changed my life (and the lives of countless others).

Seth taught me about stepwise progress.

He opened my heart to possibility and gratitude and encouraged me to pick myself.

I'm a writer today because he cared enough to keep showing up in the service of others.

Here's to the next 10,000, Seth!

Congrats and thank you for your work Seth!

This post changed my life and I love this line: “it matters that you made it.”

Thanks and of course with a classic Seth line to end: “go go go”

One of my favorite Godinisms from Seth is “Creating tomorrow by repeating yesterday is not a useful way forward.” It resonates across every area of my life, personal, professional and parental. Thank you Seth for your wisdom, insights and gift of clarity in all things. Here’s to 25 more years of changing culture! #godin25

Thank you. As a long-time follower of Seth's blog and engaged with his work on various Akimbo workshops, I would take your analysis one step further: consistent and generous permission marketing opens the funnel wider from what I want to hear to being open to what I need to hear.

Wow congrats, Seth. that’s a lot of drip by drip and then there is a deluge!

I still remember where I was in 2008 sitting in my car reading email after just losing a sales opportunity I had worked on for months. My competitive spirit had me lashing out at the client and the universe in my mind.

This post showed me another way. So I wrote a note to the client and ended up writing many more to clients over the years. Not to win business but it changed me and I’m forever grateful.

Excellent post. 25 years ago, Seth courageously pried open a heavily-encrusted traditionally-closed door, after which thousands of creative people were better able to move forward, visualize more productive lives, assimilate that knowledge, activate that knowledge, then enable themselves to chart enhanced future paths forward. Prying open that door was Seth’s gift to a sleeping world.

Seth just pried open that door even further. His newest guidance will unquestionably help many others during the next quarter century to design more gratifying and productive personal paths forward for themselves.

Thanks Seth. Thanks Authors Equity. Thanks to all others who have ever added their voices to Seth’s bold message. The world no longer is quite so sleepy. The world has been listening. The world is grateful.

“The most important lesson I can share about brand marketing is this: you definitely, certainly, and surely don’t have enough time and money to build a brand for everyone. You can’t. Don’t try. Be specific. Be very specific.”

For a long time, I resisted picking a niche for my design studio, but once I did, I started getting more prospects and clients so I can attest that it works.

A monumental achievement to someone who's work has so thoroughly changed how I look at myself and the world.

His questions of "Who's it for? What's it for?" are simple but important. I think every human should be asking themselves every single day.

Tremendous work.

The best post is really "first, ten". I was hesitant to become a full-time freelancer this year. So end of last year, I followed Seth's advice and sent 10 marketing ideas / proposals to potential clients. 2 signed. One day later I quit my VP Marketing job. And now I'm full-time freelancer. I owe this to Seth and his consistent contribution.

Congratulations, Seth! Thank you for your generosity and for making a ruckus for 25 years with 10,000 meaningful posts (and your books and talks and podcasts).

It’s hard to pick just one Seth-ism because there are so many remarkable ones. But I’ve given it a lot of thought. The one that I share with others most often is this:

“Reject the tyranny of being picked: pick yourself.”

This is especially the case right now with so many friends and former colleagues who are public servants facing job losses and others trying to shape a new path for themselves.

Thanks for showing up for all of us for all of these years, Seth. You continue to teach us daily and we appreciate you.
