I wouldn't trust AI to run a bath, let alone translate a book. The problem is that AI is incapable of appreciating nuance and context. Context is essential for translating the meaning of a word, a phrase, a clause, a sentence, a paragraph, or an entire book.
A professional translator would spend more time correcting AIs mistakes than it might possibly save.
